Floor Area: 11,000 sq.ft.

This project was designed for Mosaic Homes as part of a due diligence exercise to assess the project viability for a sub-urban retail development. The proposal consists of two buildings on the site: the most visually prominent being two fast food outlets, and the second contains automotive repair shops. The architectural form and character of the development reflected the surrounding industrial neighbourhood while maintaining a retail feel. The proposal also envisaged a sustainable approach to the site development which included permeable paving, bio-swales, rain gardens, and significant drought tolerant landscaping.
